Hello! It’s Beth and I’m back again with another guest design project for the SFL Winter Fairy Bundle! Today I made a sweet little birthday shaker card.
I’m using the sleeping fairy on the moon from the Winter Fairies stamp set and I colored her up with Copic markers in shades of pink. I added some Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Diamond to the fur on her hat and clear Wink of Stella on her wings. I also added some Glossy Accents to the cloud for some added dimension.
I chose the light pink star patterned paper from the Winter in Pink paper pack as the mat for my A2 card. I used my Silhouette to cut a scalloped square frame for my shaker element and then used a scrap of the pink stripe paper for the back of the shaker frame, to add a brighter pop of color. I stamped the sentiment “Have a fairy” from the Winter Fairy House stamp set directly onto the pink striped paper, so you can see it through my shaker window. I filled the shaker with some Martha Stewart Sugar Cube stars and sequins left from an old Flavor of the Month kit. And, I added my sleeping fairy to the bottom corner of the shaker window.
For the rest of my sentiment, I chose the “Happy Birthday” from the Winter Fairies stamp set and heat embossed it in black. I added some little yellow stars at the bottom to embellish my sentiment and added some clear Wink of Stella to them for some additional sparkle.
Thanks for checking out by card and I hope you enjoyed it! You can check out the full process video here: https://youtu.be/rPWomAWJN_w I think it would be super cute and fun card for a little girl’s birthday. I’ve enjoyed being a guest designer this month and I hope to see you all again soon!
